~Ember, book 1

Ember is a natural gifted.
That's what they call the gifteds who are born with their powers.
Ember's Mom was a fire gifted and his dad read minds.
So Ember can read people's minds a bit and his main power is fire.

Ember was aware of where he was.
In a camp.
With his annoying cousin Cellie.
She never shut up.
One day, his parents and aunt and uncle received news.
They were coming.
Coming to lock them up.
Maybe even to kill them.
They had to escape.
Now.
Or.
Never.
So they sent him on his way, to be undiscovered in a little cave just a bit from the camp.
With Cellie.
Ember and Cellie lived in the cave for about 5 years until they met Dawn, Jackie and Twilight.
That
day
would
be
the
beginning
point
of
the
adventure
to
come.

Beggar can't be choosy.

The title says all doesn't it?

The options of our need to eat list were:

Beg.
Dumpster dive.
Natural food.

It's pretty much down to this though:

Use powers for shows. Get rich. Buy food.

I don't think they get it.

I'm just writing this so when they get caught I can say "Told you so."

Oops the 'show' is starting.

Gotta see how it turns out.

Trip delay.

Guess what.
We're lost.
We need somebody to help us out.
I think we're in Denver and our Destination is Portland-Yarmouth.
Don't ask.
Cellie gave us instructions.
If somebody could please help us to get to 'Portland-Yarmouth' by posting a map and/or site (I'd prefer a map) as a comment, we will....hold on....

Okay I'm back.
All of the team thinks that we should give the winner a mystery prize.

Needed a reason. (Library Computer)

Ugh, I don't understand how sometimes Twilight and Dawn can have little okay fights in the midst of a war.
Twilight needed revenge on Dawn for booting her off the computer so, here I am.
Plus, I needed an update since we're probably moving to Maine and in case you didn't know, it's kinda far from Colorado. So, no stopping to posts for a few weeks. Or maybe someone will sneak on but they'll probably get caught.
It's pretty much a nonstop trip.
On foot.

Like we're allowed on taxi this close to camp.

Even if we were they'd probably be working for the government and ask why were out here and then we'd have to kill the driver and none of us know how to drive.
If we did, we'd get found in no time. Driver's licence anyone?

Getting sick of the computer now but might as well run you down on what's happened so I won't be the one sneaking on to post.

Met the group. (Duh.)
Watched as some of them got captured.

And, I can't give any more information or the government will say I 'made them look bad' then kill me before I have a chance to reply.

Got to go now, I'm really getting sick of the computer.

Hello.

Welcome to my "cave".
I guess this cave is what started it all.
If they hadn't found the cave then they wouldn't have found us.
If they hadn't found us then they would've gotten captured.
Maybe forced to work for the government.
I guess we'd meet up eventually.
Once Cellie gets the courage to tell me what she's been up to.
But then, we'd only meet up in a cell
or when they've turned us evil.
So is it the cell that would've started it all?
